We are both thrilled and delighted to announce our first official retail partner of the Mad Dogs Clothing – Partner Program, Localnest (www.localnest.co.za). This partnership marks the beginning of our new business structure which is both significant and exciting for us as a brand.

We wanted to personally introduce our new partner and break down the details of the partnership between Localnest and Mad Dogs Clothing. Founded in 2020 by Daniel Trevethan, Localnest was established on the foundation of his very own personal inspiration from local brands and products, noting how exquisite the overall quality was compared to those of other well-known international companies.

With the help of professional website developers, Daniel was able to put his idea into action and saw an opportunity during one of the most difficult years in recent history due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two years later, Localnest is now an established online destination that currently offers thirteen (13) independent brands that each have its own unique offering for consumers to explore and purchase. This stable of brands will soon be expanded to include Mad Dogs Clothing, supported by an exclusive collection, coming later this year.

We have worked directly alongside Daniel and Localnest to create both a niche and limited collection of Mad Dogs Clothing items which will be exclusively sold on the Localnest online platform (www.localnest.co.za). This collection has been built on the foundations of the MD Uniform which makes use of timeless and classical designs, to recreate the true vintage and nostalgic presence of our brand. This collection also marks the beginning of their very own Mad Dogs collection, which is aimed to expand in 2023, and beyond.

For now, we can confirm that this collection will be available for pre-order and ready for purchase by the end of 2022, just in time for the final Christmas shopping rush in December.
